About AmeriCorps NCCC

Aliona: Denver, CO, United States; The mission of AmeriCorps NCCC is to strengthen communities and develop leaders through direct, team-based national and community service. It is an intensive, 10-month commitment where members, in partnerships with non-profits, are assigned to projects throughout the region served by their campus. Service projects address critical needs related to natural and other disasters, infrastructure improvement, environmental stewardship and conservation, energy conservation, and urban and rural development. Members construct and rehabilitate low-income housing, respond to natural disasters, clean up streams, help communities develop emergency plans, and address countless other local needs.
